Do you take insurance? Which ones? How do I get reimbursed? 

Yes we do. I am currently contracted with Optum and Cigna insurances. Yvette accepts Cigna insurance. You will be responsible for your copay, deductible, and/or co-insurance. We will submit for reimbursement of the full fee on my end. If we are not in network with your insurance company, we can provide you with a Superbill (a receipt for services) that you are able to submit to your insurance for reimbursement, should they cover Out of Network Benefits.

What are your fees?

Our fees are $225 for the initial session and $175 for a 45-minute session.

Where are you located?

We offer Telehealth services throughout the state of California.

Do I really need therapy?

That is really for you to decide. Therapy can help when you are really struggling and it is impacting your daily life. It can be helpful to talk with someone that can provide a confidential space and learn some tools to improve aspects of your life that are difficult.

What if I can’t come every week?

Therapy does not have to be done weekly. While it is the most effective to meet every week, every other week can be effective as well. Less than every other week becomes more of a “check-in” and does not appear to be as effective.

Do you work with people outside of your specialty? 

Absolutely. While we specialize in working with women postpartum, parenting and couples, we also have experience with children, teens, and young adults going through life stressors.

What will the first visit be like? 

The first visit is a “getting to know you” session. It will be more directive and question oriented. We encourage you to bring questions as well, as it is important for you to feel comfortable working with us.
